Terms of service.

Handpay is a product of MarkD Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. In these terms, "we", "us", and "Handpay" mean MarkD Limited. "You" means the person using our website or app.

Handpay is a logbook for slot players. You use it to record what happened at a slot machine: the machine, the session, the bonuses, the wins, the losses. We do not take bets, pay out winnings, or run games of chance. Handpay is not a gambling service.

This document governs your use of handpayapp.com and, once released, the Handpay iOS app.

By using the website or the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page and, for account holders, by email.

When the app launches, you will need an account to use it. You must be 18 or older. You agree to give accurate information, keep your login secure, and tell us if you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else.

You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

Do not do the following with Handpay:

• ·Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
• ·Scrape the service, or use automated tools to interact with it at scale.
• ·Share or sell an account, or impersonate another person.
• ·Upload content that infringes someone else's rights, is illegal, or is designed to harass another user.
• ·Use the service to commit fraud, launder money, or evade tax reporting in any jurisdiction.
• ·Interfere with the service's security, availability, or integrity.

Handpay exists to help you see your own slot play clearly. It includes tools for self-exclusion, cool-off periods, and budget caps. Using them is your choice, but we build the product so that gambling harm is harder, not easier.

Handpay, the Handpay wordmark, the design system, the source code, and the machine-recognition model belong to MarkD Limited. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the website and the app as intended. That licence ends if you break these terms.

The data you log in Handpay, including photos, sessions, and notes, belongs to you. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content so the service can work for you (including syncing to your other devices, and running OCR with your consent).

If you opt in to improving the machine-recognition model, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use de-identified photos you took of slot machines for that specific purpose. You can revoke this at any time by emailing privacy@handpayapp.com, and we will delete your photos from the training set.

Handpay is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that machine recognition will be perfect. Any number you see in the app is the number you, or the OCR, entered. We do not calculate a live profit or loss from casino feeds. We have no casino feeds.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, including for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of goodwill, or loss of data that could have been prevented by keeping your own backup. Our total liability to you for anything arising out of these terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. Since the core app is free, that cap will often be zero.

You agree to indemnify us against any claim that arises from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of someone else's rights while using Handpay.

You can stop using Handpay at any time. You can delete your account in the app (once launched) and your data will be removed within 30 days, except where we are required to keep it for legal or tax reasons.

We can suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, create a risk for other users, or if we stop operating the service. We will give you reasonable notice unless the situation requires immediate action.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
