Short version: we use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful, and nothing else for marketing or advertising. This page explains what cookies get set, and how you can control them.
What we use.
The handpayapp.com website is intentionally minimal. We do not set cookies of our own for marketing, advertising, or personalisation. The only cookies that may be set are strictly necessary ones from our hosting provider and a single analytics product we use to understand which pages are useful.
Strictly necessary
- Vercel may set short-lived security cookies (for example to protect against abuse) when you load pages. These have no marketing value and are required for the site to work.
Analytics
- Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (typically _ga and _ga_*) to measure aggregated visitor behaviour: pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and referrer. We use IP anonymisation and do not share the data with advertising products. We do not use Google Signals, remarketing, or ad personalisation.
Advertising and personalisation
- None. We do not use Facebook Pixel, ad retargeting, or any comparable service.
Third parties.
When you submit your email address to the waitlist, FormSubmit.co processes the submission. FormSubmit does not set tracking cookies on our site. Its server logs are covered by its own privacy policy.
If you follow an external link from our site (for example to GamCare or BeGambleAware), the destination site sets its own cookies under its own policy. We do not control those.
How to control cookies.
Analytics cookies are off by default. On your first visit you'll see a banner at the bottom of the page: accept analytics, keep only essentials, or customise. Blocking analytics does not break anything on this site.
Change your mind at any time using the button at the bottom of this page, or by clearing the handpay.consent.v1 entry in your browser's site storage.
We honour Do Not Track (DNT) signals by keeping analytics off where they're sent.
Changes.
If we ever introduce advertising or personalisation cookies, we will update this policy, change the effective date at the top, and ask for your consent before the new cookies are set.
